❁ laneway 2014 ❁

omg I don't wanna blog about this because then I'll really have to accept that it's over :-(( but fiNE I WILL COME TO TERMS WITH IT BEFORE I FORGET ANY DETAILS HAHAHAH. okay so lanewayyy omggg another best day of 2014 and exactly a week after mob concert hahah. I really just :-((( it felt like I was in another world, something like how disneyland makes you feel except more to the chill and not a care in the world rather than being a happy child forever hahahha. so first I woke up at like 9am, took about and hour to finally pick my outfit (I procrastinated until the day itself  jfdkshjsd) and then met sam at around 1050 (originally 1030 hahaah). okay then we made our way to gardens by the bay and met nicole, ashley, adrielle and zheng chuen inside the festival grounds. we went around the booths and got free stuff HAHAHAHA mostly h&m because coincidentally, I was wearing a h&m shirt yayy

then we just chilled for awhile and watched vance joy and youth lagoon (they were really good), bought food tokens and popsicles, and I bought the laneway shirt!!! after which, we headed down to din tai fung in the shoppes at mbs for lunch and sort of dinner because I don't remember eating anymore food after that HAHAH. and now after thinking about dtf and xiao long baos I wanna eat it again omg I feel like eating namnam too HAHAHAHHA okay back to lanewayy. we bought our own big bottle of water because dtf water was 50 cents but then later we realised it was about the same price and the dtf people wanted to charge us too because we asked for cups HAAHAH okay anyway then we walked back to the meadow, and chilled more because the acts I really wanted to watch weren't up yet so I didn't really wanna go up to the stage other than for frightened rabbit.

we also walked around more and went to get cotton candy and just wander aimlessly hahaha. and took some pictures!!

then finally, at 8pm, daughter was up and omggggggggg elena's voice is like just like wow. w o w.

and the atmosphere during youth was just amazing, I still have the tingly feelings when I watch the video, just utterly amazing. 

candles as well, the feeling when the whole crowd sings together is just full with so much feeling??? It's honestly indescribable. 

then next up was haim so I squeezed to the other stage myself bc sam left but it was wORTH IT FDNKSLLK;S THE WERE SO GOOD FFDJSLS AND THEY DID A REALLY AWESOME SOLO OMGG

okay then lastly, chvrches. I totally died?????? lauren is so adorable and cute and omg her speaking voice actually sounds like her singing voice I was like wat but omg still so cute. they were really really good just bring me back seriously why does laneway have to be over :-((  

recover and mother we share we jusdfdsn though and the crowd went wild when they started it was just crazzyyy. plus I heard somebody caught their setlist omg I wished I was in front dAMMIT HAHAAHAH

well yeah then we went to pack our stuff, bought drinks with our last f&b tokens and headed back sunburnt lol @ us my shoulders are gonna start peeling soon why didn't I learn from last year to pUT MORE SUNBLOCKF BSDJKL that's about it hahah it was a really really good day and I'll always wish I can go back, but then again, there's always next year ;-))

I haven't had time to blog about mob concert so here it is yayy I'll post about laneway after this :-)) 

okay so last saturday (18/1/14) was mob's annual concert!!! (if you don't know what's mob, here) and so after preparing since last year the day finally came and it was like a gush of excitement and relief for it to be over. half of me didn't want it to end because then we won't have concert prac anymore and see less of each other, and also because I'll be going on sabbatical for o's soon so I'll only be coming back after o's. but the other half was so exhausted from prac since it was so time consuming I couldn't wait for the weight to finally be off my chest?? playing all 11 songs is no joke ok. but yeah, overall, concert was really really good and worth all that time. for sure, one of the best days in 2014 even though it's only the beginning. and thanks again to ruth, ker and milk for coming, I reaaaally appreciated it :-))) okay photo spammm

hello 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wtheck it's 2014 HAHAAHAH it's really weird to see 2014, like 2013 was fine, but 2014 just seems something like the future, not the present. I'm gonna try my best to explain it hahaha. okay so you know in tc shows when I was little, they had some episodes where they time traveled into the future? it's like 2014 is the year that things start to be considered as the future. I don't know if you get me but heck hahaha. and it's slowly sinking in for me but no not really but idk 22.5 weeks of curriculum time left to o's???? that's cRazy fast?? okay first rewind to new year's eve 2013 ya

so I met up with ruth and joy first and played at sgcc, followed by watch night service!!

and the lesson learnt on the last day of 2013: don't take photos after 1 am.
okay I feel really uncomfortable blogging about everything like, every single detail and activity because like, it's just really weird??? so I'll just put up photos to let them speak for themselves and maybe talk about really funny and memorable moments hahaha. okay thEN I had a little sleepover w joy hehe

when I finally woke up the next day (actually it was the same day) woAH SERIOUS REALIZATION THAT IT REALLY IS 2014 I'M SEC4 O LEVELS IM 16 THIS YEAR IT'S ANOTHER FULL YEAR TO GO HOLIDAYS ARE OVER NOPE but then I'm just like ok I'll put it off for another day it's still a holiday today lol worry about it later and so I went out with this pOOP 

 when I reached home I just knocked out of exhaustion from the past few days hahahahahaah bad idea, bc my dad woke me up the next morning and whoops school starts today!!!!!!!!!!! it started with a really funny incident during assembly, there was a freaking spider on my bag like those with really long skinny legs, which I do not envy bc gross and x8, and naturally I started freaking out. then it crawled towards the sec1 sitting beside me and she just fLICKED IT AWAY HAHAHHAAH. then it crawled back to me and ruth conveniently used mutt's bag to kill it and yeah basically the fright of my life.

however, I must say I had a really fun first day of school seeing all my friends again and annoying mrs augustin and everyone else, I really missed it omggg. then they decided to scare us by talking about o's and how scarily near it is, I got a teeny bit scared but then it just went away after awhile whooooopsie. I actually think that if I sit down for an entire day catching up on all the work and revising I'll be okay but I can't bc a) the state of my room like there's no space on my table for me to safely put a cup of water b) my attention span is just nope and c) ain't nobody go time for that??

 oh and presents yayy!!!

okay then after school, since we finished at 1.25 and practically everyone else had cca fair stuff to do, mel and I went to attempt doing chem homework bc lessons start tomorrow and chem, ms choo, lol @ us. and then chee came by to say hi hehehe. bff came by later too to disTRACT US HAHAHHA and yeah basically I had a really good first day of school and probably the last good day bc really, lessons start tomorrow and I'm just going to sit here and cry bc the timetable is shit and I think we have the pleasure of getting majority of the same teachers as last year which means we can't get away with anything and omg lawrence tan and wxp again like no pls spare me ok byEEEE
